  Only takes cash...had to leave my wife hostage while I went to the corner gas station to retrieve cash from the ATM machine. Service was not good they were not friendly at all. Food was OK. We did not see the blessing in Blessing. We will not recommend and will definitely not be back.

  Best place in Texas (yes, ALL of Texas) to get some really good 'home style' cooking. It's served up buffet style so you can get all you want. You will not leave disappointed. Guess I should admit - as a Blessing native, I've been eating at this place since I was a toddler. And it's been pretty much the same menu, decor, people, etc. the whole time. And that's a good thing folks.

  This is REAL down home cooking. Buffet style, $10 for everything. This food is fantastic, and the home made rolls will have you leaving with one in hand. Fried catfish is perfectly cooked and rich with flavor. Tamales are pretty good, and the collard greens are great. This is the gold standard for the dining out southern home cooking experience.
  
  This place is located INSIDE the Hotel Blessing in the rear.
